For this task, you will present your practicum project final report at your site. Invite as many stakeholders of the project as possible for your audience.

Task 2 – Dissemination Plan

After leading or participating in a project that produces new knowledge, it is the nurse’s responsibility to disseminate that information for the betterment of all. As a nurse, you have several avenues for knowledge dissemination. In this task, you will examine the various means for dissemination and determine which would most effectively convey the outcomes of your project. You will then create a plan of action for completing this final stage of your project.

Identify the various ways in which you can share the outcomes and lessons learned from the practicum project with your colleagues and with all of nursing.

Develop a plan for disseminating the results of your project beyond the primary stakeholders. Consider the following as you develop your plan:

What is the ideal format for your plan? Consider that the ideal format has a two-fold purpose: to effectively convey the project results and to reach the largest audience possible.
Who is your target audience? Who will benefit most from the information?
What is the best way to reach the largest number of people who would benefit from the information?

Summarize your dissemination plan in 525 words.

Address the following in your summary:

How will you expand the reach and value of your practicum project?
What format will be the most effective to present your information?
What is your strategy for dissemination?
Would your project be better served with a formal or informal strategy?

Task 4 – Practicum Reflection

Write a 350- to 525-word paper addressing the following:

After reflecting on your experience during the two practicum courses, what were the three greatest challenges in completing your project and finishing the courses?
How did you overcome these challenges, and what lessons did you learn from them?
What insights, lessons, knowledge, or experience did you gain from your practicum that you will carry with you into your future endeavors?
What are your plans for continuing education to keep abreast of current developments in your field? Identify specific goals and frequencies.
